The Crucible

In an otherwise dismal tour for the Indian cricket team, on the 27th of December 2011, I got to live my dream as an avid cricket fan – watch the Boxing Day test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground with India taking on Australia.

For the record, the two batsmen in the middle are Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar. This shot was taken during what was perhaps the only decent period of play by the Indian batsmen during this entire tour. Its been all downhill on a slippery slope since then.
